Job Description
Estimator | Dublin | c.€115/125k, Bonus, Car, Pension & Benefits
The successful candidate will be involved in tendering for all construction projects.
Duties will include preparing and collating accurate, detailed, and timely tenders based on drawings, specifications, bills of quantities and other information to secure profitable work orders. This involves sourcing subcontractor and supplier quotations, analysing information for ambiguity, risk and qualification and seeking clarification where necessary.
The successful candidate will assist in the ongoing development of systems and procedures used in tendering and will keep up to date with contractual changes and other developments in the construction industry. They will work both in a team and on their own initiative and will have excellent IT skills include familiarity with MS office applications including Excel and a QS/Estimating or related package.
Requirements:
Candidates should have several years’ experience in an estimating role in a contracting or a specialist contracting background together with a relevant third level qualification.
