European Financial Accountant Job in Reading, Berkshire
Job Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for a European Financial Accountant to join a successful business on a 12 month fixed term contract basis. This role offers excellent hybrid working options and excellent benefits.
As the European Accountant, you will play a significant role in taking ownership of the financial controls including accurate and timely reporting whilst continuing to promote process improvements across the European business.
Key Responsibilities:
Balance sheet reconciliations
Preparation of disclosures for interim statements and annual report.
Responsible for disclosures, technical aspects and production of statutory accounts for subsidiary companies.
Ownership and accountability on multiple entities
Monthly management accounts.
Support in the external audit for group and statutory reporting – key point of contact for detailed queries.
Assistance in month end close, with both preparation and review of journals.
Review of current process and seek continuous improvement.
Ad hoc projects as they arise.Skills & Requirements:
ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
Previous experience of working for European entities.
