Factory Manager required. My client is a leading supplier Checkweighers, Weighbridges and automated weighing solutions acorss the UK. They are looking to recruit a factory manager for their head office in Chesterfield.
The ideal candidate will come from a Fabrication / production management background, be based locally to chesterfield and have excelent experience with man management and the implentation of Quality and health and Safety standards.
Factory Manager Position Overview
Management of factory personnel in your department in a professional manner
Ensuring that all personnel comply with company rules and Health and safety regulations
Responsible for organising the workload of fabricators/welders/painters to meet customer requirements
Ensure all materials are on hand to fulfil production requirements
Attend weekly production planning meetings
Final Quality Inspection and Sign off
Quantity & Quality checks carried out on acceptance of all deliveries
Factory Manager Position Requirements
Prior fabrication factory and production management experience essential
Prior personnel management experience
Experience with stock control and inventory management
Hands on welding experience would be a bonus
Familiar with implementing ISO9001 Quality standards
Experienced with Health and Safety requirements
Full UK Driving licence
Based locally to Chesterfield
Factory Manager Position Remuneration
Salary £35,000 – £40,000 DOE
Monday to Friday 8:00 – 16:30
Overtime paid at 1.5x normal rate Monday – Saturday and 2x double rate on Sundays
25 days holiday plus public holidays
