Job Description
CMA Recruitment Group is working in partnership with an internationally recognised market leader, to recruit a Financial Accounting Manager with oversight for fixed assets and leasing, supporting a number of markets across the EMEA region. The Financial Accounting Manager is a key position reporting into the Regional Controller and will help implement strategic change and maintain a secure & robust financial reporting framework across the region.
What will the role involve?
Management of a successful fixed asset & leasing accounting team which underpins the integrity of the organisations financial reporting;
Partnering with the wider Shared Service teams, the UK Distribution and Manufacturing finance teams and the in-market Finance Managers to maintain and enhance the Fixed Asset & Leasing Financial Reporting framework in the EMEA region.
As well as managing the transactional requirements and deliverables, this role will provide direction & value add through using strong “customer” centric focus;
Support business initiatives related to Fixed Asset & Leasing, and ensure efficient process created to report on them;
Contribute to monthly regional finance meetings with the in-market Finance Managers, fostering a collaborative environment;
Responsibility for regional Lease reporting, ensuring compliance with ASC842 across the region.
What will you need?
Full qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA);
Strong technical financial knowledge with direct, hands-on experience with US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley;
Ability to operate on a tactical level with a good understanding of strategy;
