Graduate Supply Chain Coordinator
£20,000 – £25,000 Per Annum Basic Salary
08:00am – 17:00pm Mon – Fri
Office based: Leeds, LS10

To assist in the day to day running of the delivery to ensure prompt and on time deliveries to customers and depots based within our Hunslet depot.
Main purpose of the role
To plan efficient routes, assist in managing drivers and ensuring the fleet is maintained.
Main Responsibilities
Speaking with stakeholders and organising transport while keeping strategy in mind
Compliance with the safety standards and transport standard operating procedures
Maintaining the safe and timely delivery of products
Scheduling vehicle maintenance appointments
Planning daily transport routes and drivers
Performing relevant administrative duties
Complaint handling and processing the urgent ones to senior Management
Developing and implementing new and improved transport procedures
Assisting in training new recruits to the department
Analysing supply chain data and performance
Maintaining inventory
Knowledge, skills and experience (preferred although training would be given to the right candidate)
The role requires:
Experience in the transport department
Basic knowledge of supply chain
Knowledge of inventory management
Knowledge of transport and safety standards
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Quick decision-making ability
Familiar with GPS and navigation tools
