Job Description

Based in Glasgow, our Housing Association client has an immediate need for a Housing Officer to fill a temporary contract for a 3-month period, however the role could last longer.

The position is based in the Tenancy Services team and will focus on areas such as antisocial behaviour and sustainment. With the support from the Tenancy Services team and an administrator, you will investigate Anti-Social Behaviour complaints and where required issue first and second warnings. Should there be further breaches then the case will be referred to a specialist investigator. In addition to the Anti-Social behaviour work, you will be involved in tenancy sustainment. Ideally the successful candidate will have excellent people skills, report writing skills, has a good housing knowledge, can link with partner agencies (Police, HSCP etc) and is able to show a genuine desire to help tenants through some difficult times. You will be responsible for serving abandonment notices (following a clearly defined process).

Candidates will ideally have experience working in the Social Housing sector and have Anti-Social Behaviour and Sustainment experience, in addition you will be available at short notice. If you with to find out more about the role please contact Alasdair Reid on (phone number removed)
