Job Description
Anderson Knight is working in partnership with a key client to recruit an experienced HR Adviser, this is a permanent position based on the outskirts of Glasgow with some travel involved. You will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, spending 3 days working in the office and 2 days working from home or travelling to other offices in the region.
The successful HR Adviser will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth running of the business, by providing generalist HR support in areas such as employee relations, recruitment, reporting and working with the HR Business partner on various HR Projects.
The HR Adviser will be responsible for:
* Dealing with employee relations issues, such as disciplinaries, grievances, absence and performance management
* Reporting on key HR metrics for management on a daily, weekly and basis
* Delivering training to line managers
* Coaching and guiding line managers, promoting their capabilities and enabling them to make decisions in line with HR best practice and company policy
* Developing and reviewing HR policies and procedures
* Responsibility for the end-to-end recruitment process by preparing and placing adverts, creating job descriptions, person specifications and interview scripts.
* Providing support and guidance to hiring managers
* Working closely with the HR Business partner on key projects
The successful HR Adviser should possess the following criteria:
* Atleast 1 years’ experience in a HR generalist position
* A CIPD Qualification
* Good working knowledge of UK employment legislation
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
* Excellent IT Skills, particularly in Microsoft office
* Strong interpersonal skills – excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Work well independently and as part of a wider team
