Job Description
We have a very exciting opportunity for a HR Assistant to gain some valuable experience during this 12 month FTC!
You'll be supporting the People Services Manager and fellow colleagues to deliver an exemplary service to all of the employees. Representing the People Team, you’ll act and respond positively to customers whilst remaining professional and highly confidential at all times. You'll be the kind of person who is results driven and you’ll deliver against tight deadlines and targets. A can do attitude is a must, enthusiastic with the desire to succeed!
Key responsibilities:
First point of contact for People related queries and logging them in a Case Management tool, ensuring a full record of all People Service queries
Contribute to the development, implementation and monitoring of People policies and procedures
To produce new hire contracts, instigate and monitor background checks and provide new hire on boarding support
To provide guidance on People policies and procedures
To maintain and manage employees files (including scanning documents and uploading)
Monitor probationary periods – emails/ escalate to the appropriate People representative
Benefits – support with the administration around season ticket loans, gym membership, childcare vouchers, dental scheme etc.
Rotas – manage the casual and hot desk timesheet process
This is a fast paced environment so you'll need previous experience within a People Shared Services or HR administration function to hit the ground running. A background in customer service with excellent communications skills would also be of great benefit. Previous experience working with a CRM or HRIS will help you to excel as well as knowledge of payroll and HR policies and procedures.

The role is a 12 month contract paying up to £27K depending on experience.
