Job Description

THE LOCATION: Harrow
HYBRID ROLE: Yes, working partly form home and partly in the office.
HRS OF WORK: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm each day.
THE ROLE Must have worked at HR Assistant, HR Coordinator or HR Generalist level for the last few years.
Providing HR Assistant and HR Generalist support, dealing with a variety of duties and responsibilities including updating trackers and expenses and being part of a team committed to bring projects in on time and on budget
Ensuring all employee information is up to date, answering queries. Be the first point of contact for "trouble shooting" any HR related issues.
Dealing with payroll changes and any queries relating to this. Submitting payroll to an outsourced provider.
Fully immersed in delivering HR projects in line with the HR Business Plan.
Writing (following templates but altering when applicable) and distributing internal letters to employees (bonus, pay, promotion, pass of probation, pension changes, long service award, confirmation of resignation, change of hours, maternity, confirmation of employment etc.)
Dealing with all New starter administration: Drafting new contracts of employment for signature.
Filing of all HR related records, sickness absence, contract extensions, new starter contracts. Setting up new files for new starters and keeping all records up to date.
Updating absence records and verifying that absence forms are returned; arranging Return to Work meetings if applicable. Monitoring sickness levels of staff.
Updating and monitoring employee's holidays and dealing with any question around policy and process
Arranging and following up references
Proof-reading and updating job descriptions
Dealing with Recruitment support activities, adding new vacancies onto corporate site as necessary. Removing vacancies from the site once the position is filled. Liaising with agencies to ensure they have all the information they require to source for open positions.
Setting up interviews in diaries once notified by the team, liaising with line managers, agencies and direct candidates along with booking meeting rooms and ensuring CV's are shared.
Organising induction programs for new starters (Scheduling in 1-2-1's within diaries and booking meeting rooms etc).Providing HR Generalist sporadic help and support to the team, dealing with adhoc HR related activities.
