We are currently recruiting for an Senior HSBC Designer to come and join the design team. As our HSB CAD Designer, you will be responsible for creating the 3d modules that are factory will use to produce the homes.
This role would suit someone who has a passion for innovation and new ideas.
If you have experience of using Auto Cad we can provide training on how to use HSB CAD.
The Role:
* Responsible for the continuous development and testing of existing software, custom development and package upgrades.
* Responsible for aiding the design department in developing and maintaining details & optimising production files.
* Maintaining BOMLink & design BOM data.
* Production Design support & Investigations – Trouble shooting.
* Responsible for aiding the R&D department with new product testing and affiliated test designs.
* Maintain design library’s and standard details.
About you
* HND / HNC / BTec in Engineering or information technology minimu
* CIAT accreditation would be an advantage
* Excellent understanding of design for manufacturing processes.
* Knowledge and understanding of timber frame design is highly desirable.
* Knowledge and understanding for machine integration desirable.
* Experience of document control and BIM
* Understanding and use of Revit and Inventor design programs
