Job Description
My client, a provider of end to end supply chains solutions, is looking to recruit an experienced Key Account Manager to join its team in Manchester. There is an option for HYBRID working.
ROLE: Key Account Manager
LOCATION: Manchester (hybrid working)
Salary: up to £50k plus bonus, pension, 25 days annual leave
HOURS: Monday to Friday 9 am – 5.30 pm
We are looking for an analytical, commercially focused Account Manager who will have responsibility for a portfolio of key accounts. You will be the conduit between the operations team and customer, ensuring that KPI's are being met. You will have an analytical mindset to allow you to identify inefficiencies in the customer's supply chain and be commercially astute so that you can provide cost effective solutions.
You will be required to conduct client reviews, clients visits, reporting etc
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Previous commecial experience within the freight sector essential
Ideally have knowledge of ocean imports
First class presentation and communication skills
Ability to build strong internal and external relationships
Custom focused
Strong team player
