Job Description
ABOUT THE CLIENT
My Client is a M&E Contractor based over in West Sussex, they are currently looking for an intermediate QS to come and join the team who will be both office and Site Based. My client has been trading for 35 years across the Commercial, Healthcare and Education sectors.
ABOUT THE ROLE
* Report directly to Senior QS and Liaising with Contract Managers and Project Managers
* Project values £50k – £5m
* Demonstrate appropriate Health and Safety Leadership
* Maintain all records in order to maximise contractual entitlements
* Prepare, submit applications, and secure recovery of payment, with substantiation of compensation or variations
* With support, manage sub contract accounts through to final account settlement
* Monitor and control progress with the operational team, providing accurate internal reporting
* Ensure availability of all project reports, applications, certificates, payments, timeliness and quality of delivery, and tender allowances.
* With support, negotiate to settle the project account with the client
ABOUT THE CANDIDATE
* Ability to work by yourself or within a team
* At least 3 years’ experience assisting a QS or working as an intermediate
* Experience working within Commercial Sector
* Someone who wants to progress throughout the years
* Able to Commute to London based sites
