Job Description
Front End Developer – Remote
Our client is a rapidly growing marketing agency that has built an outstanding reputation both nationally and across the globe. Based at a modern and inspiring purpose-built HQ in East Cheshire. Their long-term client portfolio is constantly evolving and consists of clients within the Healthcare, Manufacturing, and Technology sectors, on an international scale.
They are currently recruiting for a dynamic Frontend Developer to join their growing team, supporting their ongoing strategy to effect positive and meaningful change for their clients.
The responsibilities of the role are as follows:
· Developing beautiful frontend solutions.
· Developing custom WordPress themes.
· Conducting website performance tests and optimising sites.
· Working alongside other developers and designers and the broader team to discuss website design and function.
· Working directly with clients as part of team meetings.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate all or most of the following skills and experience:
* Experienced Front End Developer
* Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Sass, JavaScript and jQuery, PHP, Responsive/flexible build.
* Good knowledge of PHP for template development.
* Knowledge and working experience of Gulp and/or Webpack.
* Good understanding of and ability to create website architecture and aesthetics.
* Good understanding of building for SEO and browser differences.
* Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.
* Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
* Knowledge of React and headless CMS deployment is a bonus.
* Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git.
This is a remote position with monthly travel to HQ in East Cheshire. For this position the company offers an excellent benefits package
