We are currently recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to work at our manufacturing business in Colchester, As a business they manufacture many well-known products available across the UK within the heavy manufacturing industry. The company has evolved in its field through setting engineering standards that are second to none. Continuous improvement is at the forefront of this company and the successful Maintenance engineer will be able to get involved in projects on some innovative machinery. This role will require the Maintenance engineer to plan and schedule preventative maintenance works to allow the machinery to be as reliable as possible, maintaining inventory and taking a proactive approach with regards to keeping the site running to its full potential.
This is working a Monday to Friday days role so do not delay in applying.
Skills required for the Maintenance Engineer:
The Maintenance Engineer will need to be Multi-skilled (mechanical bias).
The Maintenance Engineer will reduce the impact of downtime of the cleaning production operation through close monitoring of the machine performance.
The Maintenance Engineer will develop and maintain an annual schedule of planned maintenance that minimise operational downtime and maximise machinery running capabilities.
The Maintenance Engineer will need to be from a factory maintenance background.
The Maintenance Engineer will be working on; conveyors, pumps, mixers, motors, pneumatics, rollers, washers.
