Job Description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a qualified Multi Skilled Maintenance engineer to work a 3 rotating shift for a world leading beverage maker in the Trafford Park area of Manchester.
Location: Trafford Park
Hours: Earlies, Lates and Nights (No weekend or Friday night shift)
Salary: £43,568 per annum inc shift allowance
JOB PURPOSE
The main purpose of the roles is to work within the shift engineering team and provide technical/ maintenance support, responding to breakdowns as and when required. The ideal applicant should also understand and use appropriate TPM Tools & Techniques to improve equipment reliability.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for ensuring the company safety policy, rules and procedures are understood and followed on all tasks and improvements.
You will perform risk assessments as appropriate and take part in regular inspections/audits for good housekeeping/6S and machine safety and ensure agreed action are completed
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL:
Have an NVQ L3 in Engineering and Post Apprenticeship skill level
Good levels of verbal and written communication
Basic levels of computer literacy
Ability to analyse and interpret information and data from different sources and media
Ability to fault find on electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic machinery
Experience of high-speed packing machinery or similar
