Maintenance Plumber / Improver
FULL TIME – 40 hours per week
Salary: £24,000 to £28,000 (subject to knowledge and experience)
Benefits: Company van, fuel card, and pension
Corrigenda are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Plumber to carry out general planned and reactive maintenance tasks on hot and cold-water systems to a variety of properties including offices, schools, libraries, fire stations and police stations across the eastern side of Hampshire. You would need good practical / organizational skills, with the ability to follow technical instructions and an understanding of safe working practices. If required, training will be provided to fulfil the required tasks.
Key Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on thermostatic mixer valves to TMV3 standard.
* Various tasks in relation to legionella management on site such as descaling spray taps.
* Reactive maintenance on hot and cold-water systems
* Maintain a safe working environment for yourself, other engineers, end users on site and general public at all times
* Ability to work effectively on own or as part of team to ensure we meet our client contract expectations
* To collaborate with other engineers and site staff to arrange site access to required working areas
* Contact suppliers for replacement parts and cost information
* A flexible approach to supporting other resources as required
* Any other tasks required by the company within skill set/experience
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications:
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction
* Be able to operate SMART devices and complete electronic documentation
* Full driving licence
* Pass DBS / Police background checks for working in schools / Police stations
* NVQ Level 2 plumbing City and Guilds qualification (or equivalent)
* Legionella awareness
* Unvented water systems qualification
