Location: Corby
ATA Recruitment are working with a Global manufacturer of polyurethane foams used by a wide range of sectors such as Automotive, Aerospace, Industrial and Medical. They are currently looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their dynamic team in Corby to aid with increasing client demands.
As a global market leader, they generate an annual turnover of 1.6 billion and have over 3,500 employees within their group based over 19 different locations worldwide.
The Role
As a Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for design and costing of bespoke foam for clients mainly from Automotive, Aerospace, Industrial and Medical industries.
Key responsibilities for a Manufacturing Engineer will be:
To establish the feasibility for bespoke products to be made
To establish what the manufacturing process will be to make the product
To put together costing for the manufacturing process
To carry out trail runs providing samples for the clients
The Candidate
The ideal Manufacturing Engineer will be
Experience in manufacturing
An engineering qualification, apprenticeship route will also be considered
AutoCAD experience
The ability to work as part of a team and as an individual
Excellent communication skills
