Currently representing a growing consultancy in Portsmouth that are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team. Our client is a multi-Disciplined company that have a great reputation for working on prestigious buildings and the Defence Estate in London. Mechanical Design Engineer Position Overview
To provide the design aspect of MEP design projects to the high standards expected.
You will preferably have experience of working on large building projects (£5M+)
Minimum of HNC in Building Services, and CIBSE existing member
Proven ability to work as a team, building relationships with clients and other design team members.
Excellent time management and general organizational skills.
Experience required in the following: Design Services, Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Comfort Cooling, AutoCAD, DHW Systems, Public Health Engineering
Hevacomp experience along with SBEM calculations would be a key area required.
Experience Preferred in the following: BMS & Controls, Drainage,
Experience in BIM desirable but not essential
Mechanical Design Engineer Position Requirements
Member of CIBSE
SC Clearance will be required so applicants will need to undergo security clearance vetting, if not already security cleared to a minimum of SC level
Full UK Drive License preferable
Mechanical Design Engineer Position Remuneration
Salary £30k to £45k DOE
