Mechancial Environmental Test Engineer
A well established engineering company continues to secure orders for their world leading product. To meet these orders, their R&D department are at full stretch in producing innovative working prototypes which are required to be assessed through an exhaustive environmental performance assessment. To undertake these assessments, an experienced Environmental Test Engineer is needed.
Skills you may have for this Environmental Test Engineer role are:
+ Vibration and Climatic test techniques and systems
+ Knowledge and understanding of Vibration / Shock / Acoustics, Pyrotechnics, Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (EEE) and Statistical / trend analysis
+ HNC , HND , BSc , BEng , MEng or MSc degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or Engineering Equivalent
The purpose of this Accelerated Life Testing Engineer role is:
+ Conduct prototype testing both on site and at external test facilities
+ Prepare and issue Flash and full Test Reports for review by customers
+ Evaluate post test data and develop reports which will determine future R&D
+ Prepare Test Procedure and schedules
