Mechanical Shift Engineer
Location: Mayfair, W1J – London
Salary: £45,000
Hours of work: 4 on 4 off, 6 on 6 off – Days only. 7am – 7pm
Type: Permanent
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for an award winning M&E service provider who are recruiting for a Mechanical Day Shift Engineer to work at a large corporate site based in Mayfair, London. This is role is offering a salary of £45,000, With fantastic opportunities to develop and progress within the industry.
The role of a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role to carry out the servicing and reactive repairs to mechanical services. Additionally the engineer will be expected to assist other trades as directed by the operations supervisor.
Carry out routines unsupervised (PPM and reactive), diagnose and repair faults on electrical and some mechanical building services (L8, AHU maintenance, fire alarms, lighting testing, lighting repairs, pumps motors, heating system fault finding and awareness (Heat exchangers, actuators, pipe work)
Relevant work experience includes but is not limited to;
· AHU’s, FCU’s
· Pumps, Motors
· Plumbing
· AC units – Splits, VRV’s, VRF’s
· Fans, Belts, Filters
· Fire alarm testing
· General maintenance etc.
Skills Required:
The successful candidate must have:
· The ideal candidate will have the relevant qualifications – Mechanical City & Guilds – Plumbing or Air Conditioning/HVAC
· With at least 5 years’ experience in mechanical services in the building services trade
· Must be well presented with good interpersonal skills as this is a client facing role
