Viking have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Advisor to join our team based in Ashton-Under-Lyne / Hybrid working. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive an excellent salary and benefits package.

About the role:

At Viking we are fanatical about delivering excellent customer service to all internal and external customers and exceeding customer expectations to maximise company sales. 

In this Customer Service Advisor role, you will be responsible for developing customer loyalty and enhancing their experience via a selection of touch points, including inbound calls, outbound campaigns, email and chat.  You will use excellent communication skills to identify customer needs and effectively process all customer orders, and pre and after sales queries.  You will effectively manage the customer relationship and grow a long-term customer base.  At the same time, you will work towards departmental and individual objectives, to create a consistent and healthily competitive workplace. 

As our Customer Service Advisor, you will:

Dealing with Business Customers, processing orders and inquiries received via phone email and chat ensuring a correct understanding of the reason for the customer contact. 

Ensure all internal targets are monitored and met and that the question of the customer is answered, or expectations managed. 

Provide efficient and effective service to customers, undertake handling of objections if needed. 

Suggest additional and alternative products or services to meet customer needs as well as refer customers to other departments of Viking Raja when the question or objection requires this. 

Handle all administrative duties related to the customer service role. 

Develop and maintain extensive understanding of all products, services, systems and processes in order to deal with a variety of queries. 

Constantly monitor customer feedback to ensure corrective action is taken to improve customer satisfaction

What we’re looking for in our Customer Service Advisor:

Is able to work without close supervision and demonstrates a positive attitude.  

Is customer focused, process and results driven.  

Has excellent listening skills with ability to build rapport and engage with customers.  

Fluent knowledge of English, spoken and written.  

Uses logic and initiative to solve problems and effectively implement solutions.  

Desirable 

Previous experience working within a Customer Contact Centre or Retail. 

Is able to work within guidelines and systems within the department and is able to contribute ideas to improving the customer experience.  

Has the ability to handle standard and sometimes complex questions from customers to get a full view on their needs.
