Job Description
Mobile Electrician – Fixed Wire Testing Engineer
My client is a provider of electrical services, a specialist in the provision of tailored and bespoke technical services solutions to a varied client base that includes Industrial, Commercial, Corporate, and Retail environments respectively.
The FWT Engineer will be responsible for carrying out the periodic testing of electrical hard wiring infrastructure to include (not limited to) main panels, distribution boards, power, lighting and alarm systems within a range of client facilities to include corporate, commercial, industrial and retail environments respectively located throughout the Glasgow area.
In addition to the main FWT aspect of the position the FWT Engineer will also be responsible for carrying out remedial/fault-finding as well as performing some reactive/breakdown repairs and potential small-scale installation of electrical building services systems as business needs require.
Candidate Requirements & Additional Information
City & Guilds 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations.
City & Guilds 2391/2395 Electrical Inspection & Testing and/or recognised equivalent
City & Guilds Electrical Parts I & II and/or equivalent
Experienced in performing electrical FWT testing, remedial/fault-finding and repairs to Electrical Building Services infrastructure systems.
Driving License (Maximum of 6 Penalty Points)
