ABOUT THE ROLE:
We know how to turn a spud into something fantastic. And our Operational Technicians play a huge part in ensuring our shift teams continuously drive performance through the ability to fault find and improve our systems.
It’s a job that involves lots of influencing. You work alongside the shift teams, coaching and engaging them to improve technical understanding and embed ownership at operator level.

The shift pattern is 2 days 7am-7pm, 1 day off, 2 nights 7pm-7am followed by 3 days off.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR…
You’ll be a technical expert within a production role and it’s a given that you will have experience of factory systems, ideally within an FMCG environment.
Reporting into the Shift Area Manager you’ll also have…
* Knowledge of continuous improvement and an eye for improving systems and processes
* Ability to understand technical concepts, a problem solving mind-set and able to soak up new information quickly
* Experience of training and coaching colleagues to standards
* An excellent understanding of Health & Safety requirements
* Experience of influencing others through confident communication
* Strong prioritisation skills, and be able to organise your own time
* The confidence to be accountable, taking ownership and driving your own initiative
* The ability to bounce back, be self-motivated even under tough circumstances
* Strong working relationships, and able to collaborate with lots of different people and teams
