Job Description
Jark Bradford Ltd Technical & Engineering Division are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a position for an Electrical engineer for machine wiring and control panels in Bradford
Applicants should be available immediately and have a demonstrable background in wiring and fitting control panels
The Job Role
• Wiring control panels
• Wiring machines to existing panels
• Working days, although a flexible approach to overtime is required
The Candidate
• You will ideally be Apprentice trained and qualified to a minimum City & Guilds level.
• Candidates will need to have previous experience of prototype or panel wiring and assembly / mechanical fitting.
• Fitting/kitting-out of Control Panel Cabinets, incorporating MCC, Relays, PLC’s and wiring of special purpose machinery.
• This will be replacing an Electrical Supervisor and the potential candidate could also supervise the electrical department but not fully required
Applicants who can demonstrate recent experience in a similar role
Candidates must have previous Machine or Control Panel wiring experience, ability to read and work from drawings and schematics.
Working hours 39 per week Mon to Thurs 8am, to 4:30pm Fri 8am to 3:30pm
Pay rate £16.00 – £18.00 per hour, In addition you will accrue annual holiday to 28 including statutory days
This is a temporary to permanent contract after 12 weeks
