RLE International is working on behalf of their Essex based Automotive Client, who are currently looking for a PNVH Rig Build Technician to support and join their expanding team

Position Description:
PNVH Rig Build Technician
Rate: £20.88 (via Umbrella) – increasing to £28.46 after 13 weeks under AWR’s – Agency Worker Regulations.
Lead rig builds to support delivery of PT rigs to the newly constructed APL NVH test facility Lead transition of the virtual and physical build process to the newly formed build factory. Lead the Propulsion NVH group to resolve all HEV/BEV, gasoline & diesel calibration related NVH issues and liaise with the appropriate calibration teams in support of this. Lead other Propulsion NVH team members advising on calibration/controls/wiring loom related issue resolution actions. Support PNVH testing to support NVH program deliverables
Skills Required:
Practical experience using ATI, DET and other automotive calibration & diagnostic tools
Skills Preferred:
Strong coordination & planning skills.
Experience Required:
Extensive experience in a similar role i.e., Automotive dealership Technician, Master Technician, Calibration Engineer
Experience Preferred:
Knowledge powertrain architecture, hardware and software.
Education Preferred:
Degree not essential. Extensive experience in an Automotive dealership or calibration role.
Additional Information:
Travel – Occasionally. Once or twice a year for no more than one week at a time.
