We’re looking for a talented Bristol or SW-based PR Account Director for an industry-leading, independent PR and Communications Agency that delivers cutting-edge campaigns for a range of innovative, corporate sector clients. Their client list is exciting and varied, and there’s a good mixture of work there too. For this role we are looking for an Account Director with strong corporate or B2B PR experience – ideally you'll have worked with clients in this space at a senior level.
What you’ll be doing
The successful PR Account Director will become a positive, motivational and supportive leadership figure in the business working alongside other senior team members.
You'll be a senior contact for clients, you'll manage and oversee various accounts teams to ensure campaigns are delivered and service level agreements are met.
Commercially minded and creative in nature, the Account Director will be adept at building relationships with key commentators, industry spokespeople, and senior journalists.
You will also direct and lead PR projects and provide counsel to their clients and board alike.
As a senior member of the business, you will also deliver new business and grow existing accounts.
You'll only ever be working at 60% capacity on client work so that you have enough time to focus on the other things that are important from a leadership role.
What experience you’ll need to apply
Proven track record in a PR agency Account Director role with experience in the corporate sector.
Strong client development and team leadership skills.
A strategic thinker, able to contribute to the growth and culture of the agency as well as providing amazing client service via a team of Account Managers.
Ambitious and excited by the idea of joining an established independent PR agency in growth mode.
