Teaching Assistant – September Start

Interested in working with children? Already have experience as a TA?

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for Support Workers and Teaching Assistants to assist the brilliant Primary schools that we work with across Derbyshire. The ideal candidate will have experience in schools, but this is not essential. Candidates from alternative backgrounds often have transferrable skills that they can bring into the classroom. This could be a great opportunity for someone looking to begin a career working with children, or someone interested in more flexible working. These roles are available on a full-time and part-time basis starting in September.

Roles and responsibilities:

Supporting students who may need additional assistance in the classroom
Carrying out administrative tasks
Managing behaviour in lessons
Supporting the class teacher

Flexible and adaptable
An up-to-date child only workforce DBS on the update service is a key requirement for all applicants (we can assist with this).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
