This is an opportunity for an Indirect Procurement Category Manager to join the UK team of a global business as they continue to develop their best practice procurement operation and embed digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop category strategies across a range of indirect category spend areas, manage sourcing, tender processes, contract management and supplier development effectively.
Build category plans and review processes to optimise supplier volumes and pricing
Work with key stakeholders to ensure that procurement best practices and policies are followed and maintained
Delivery of cost savings targets
Develop strong stakeholder relationships
Work collaboratively with teams across the business to align business plans and deliver valueSkills & Experience:
End to end Procurement experience across a range of indirect products and services (Facilities, IT, Marketing, Professional Services)
Proven track record in cost analysis and cost savings
Proven track record in influencing and managing stakeholders
Strong, developed negotiation skills
Experience of working within a category management structure and working with stakeholders to develop category plans
Excellent communication, influencing and relationship building skills
Experienced in using Procurement systems
