Product Owner | £55,000 – £65,000 | Fully Remote
 
Langham Recruitment are looking for an experienced Technical Product Owner to join our client, a growing tech start-up that operate in the smart mobility sector, who are working on next generation smart solutions using their predictive behaviour technology. This is an exciting time for the company as they are expanding their client base globally.
 
We are looking for an experienced product owner to join the company’s Analytics and Insights unit. You will work with a SCRUM team based in Europe and the UK and be responsible for a range of backend services and their Mobile SDK.
 
Job Role

Create and manage the product backlog, driving development while aligning with strategical goals on the unit and company level.
Work closely with your SCRUM team to manage day-to-day work on the backend services and the mobile SDK.
Align and collaborate with the POs of other teams to manage dependencies of services/products and feature requests.
Collaborate closely with the Location Analytics team to constantly improve our backend services.
Work with the partners and customers, successfully manage projects and transform business requirements into the product backlog.
Plan and manage platform releases in collaboration with the engineers and the POs of other teams.
Liaise with the technology partners and lead the integration of SDKs or APIs.
Work with the legal and privacy experts to make sure our products and services meet our high data privacy standards.
Access and manage security risks in collaboration with our info sec specialists. Facilitate security audits. 
Candidate Requirements

Experience with creating digital products in an agile setup.
Experience in mobile app development as a plus.
Comfortable with meeting customers, negotiating deliverables, presenting and pitching.
Familiar with the tech stack of modern, Internet based applications and cloud computing.
Basic understanding of data base technologies and data modelling.
Experience with working with remote and distributed teams as a plus.
Hands-on and willing to get your hands dirty (you might find yourself sitting in a train testing your own mobile app while analysing its logs with a Web proxy).
