Job Description
Staffline in partnership with our world-leading Seafood client, MOWI, has a fantastic opportunity to work as a Production Operative in their state-of-the-art salmon production facility at Rosyth, near Dunfermline.
This is an excellent chance to work with the experts and learn from the best.
This is full-time, ongoing work, with many opportunities for career progression and permanent roles with MOWI.
The rate of pay for Production Operatives is £10.16 – £10.59.
Overtime is available and paid at £15.24 – £15.89 per hour.
We have a variety of shifts available for Production Operatives:
Fortnightly Rota
Week 1: Sunday, Wednesday & Thursday 6am to 6pm
Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday & Saturday 6am to 6pm
Alternate AM/PM
Week 1: Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm
Week 2: Monday to Friday, 2pm to 10pm
Fixed Shift Monday – Friday
Monday to Thursday 7am to 3pm
Friday 7am – 2:30pm
All these shift patterns are fixed and guaranteed – speak to the onsite team for full details!
MOWI is offering Bonus incentives for new starters joining the team!
If you have previous experience working in a food processing environment you will be eligible for a £500 bonus, paid at the end of 10 weeks!

Your Time at Work
As a Production Operative, you will be working on a line to prepare salmon to customer specifications. Other duties include:
– Monitoring the production process and carry out basic testing and quality checks.
– The finished product will also need to be packaged correctly ready for shipment.
Full training will be provided, and you will have the opportunity to learn from highly experienced individuals.
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect Production Operative will have great coordination and dexterity to prepare the salmon efficiently and at a pace.
You will:
– Have an eye for detail and work well as part of a large team.
– Have patience and the ability to work well under pressure are essential.
– Have a certain level of fitness due to manual handling and the nature of the role.
Experience as a Production Operative, Warehouse or a Factory Operative is desirable, however, full training will be provided.
