Job Description
We are looking for a full time and permanent Production Operative to join a well established team based in Warwick on the Heathcote Industrial Estate. The company has grown over the last 18 months, and they are expanding and moving to an even bigger premises round the corner.
Salary is £11.50 an hour/£22,126.00 per year.
37 hours a week- Monday to Thursday 7.50am – 4.20pm, Friday 7.50am -12.50pm.
Duties of the role:
Assemble & Manufacture TESS™, parts and assemblies to the correct specification, in accordance with the works orders and instructions from management
Receive works orders and check instructions prior to manufacture, advising Production management of any potential issues
Pick the parts according to the works order from the stores
Pack goods and orders for TESS™, ensuring that all components are packed in such a way as to minimise the risk of damage to the contents during long haul transit
Load and unload goods and materials, using appropriate lifting equipment including crane and slinging, and fork truck, as qualified and as necessary
Carry out final inspection on goods manufactured by other staff
Maintain general machinery and replace consumable parts, when necessary
The accurate manufacture of parts on the CNC Machines to the correct specification within acceptable manufacture lead times
Identify and report unsafe operations to Supervisor immediately
Maintain and archive Company files and records effectively where necessary
Use information technology when necessary to maximise efficiency and ensure work is saved electronically to provide an audit trail to protect the business from unreasonable claims
Help to cover the duties of other personnel during periods of holiday and other absence
Assist in annual stock take
Available to undertake overtime when required
