Job Description
JOB – Production Supervisor
LOCATION – Northwest London
TERM – Permanent
SALARY – £30,000 to £45,000 per annum
My client manufactures bespoke products for process industries. They are looking for a Production Supervisor to join their team in Northwest London on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience and be able to lead a team.
The Production Supervisor will ideally have the following attributes:
Experience of leading a team
At least 2 years’ experience within a Manufacturing environment
Knowledge of 3D CAD and the ability to read engineering drawings
Qualified in Engineering ideally (NVQ / HNC / HND / Degree or similar) OR qualified by experience
Ability to motivate a team to meet production targets
Understanding of KPI monitoring
Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Be self-motivated and have a positive attitude
The Production Supervisor role will involve:
Overseeing the production team and ensuring work is carried out effectively
Also being hands-on when need be – checking engineering drawings and working on updates and improvements
Ensuring orders are on time and testing is complete
Monitoring KPI’s and ensuring targets are met
Liaising with other departments where necessary
Ensuring the Production department are complying with Health & Safety regulations and company policies
Tackling any issues that may arise throughout production
Working to continuously improve quality standards
