Job Description
Job Title: Quality Inspector
Shift Pattern: Continental Day Shift; 06.00 to 18.00 Monday to Thursday with a 20 minute unpaid break at 12.00.
Location: Leicester – LE3
Hourly Rate: £13.50 – 14.50 per hour + £1.48 shift allowance
The Role:
Our client have a vacancy within their Quality Inspection Department and are currently recruiting for the role an Quality Inspector.
Duties include:
Ensure that Inspection tasks are carried out as defined by the Job Card narrative, work instruction or customer drawing
Carry out 1st off, 100% visual and dimensional inspection, receipt inspection and CEO where required
Ensure any non-conforming parts are sentenced in accordance with the non-conformance process and key information is provided by Shop Floor personnel
Work as part of a team with colleagues to maximise factory efficiency
Be involved and carry out gauge R & R activities when required.
The Candidate:
Understanding of PCDIMIS operation (CMM)
Apprentice trained but not essential
Worked within an Aerospace/Automotive production environment for a number of years
Proven track record on inspection techniques and understanding of geometric tolerance.
