Job Description
Anderson Knight are currently recruiting for an Experienced Backfill and Re-Instatement manager. You will have responsibility over Site supervision of Team Leaders, HGV Drivers and operatives to ensure compliance to legal and Group policy and procedural requirements supporing their contracts and projects around the south East of England (Kent) with their head office based in Essex,
You will have your NRSWA Certificate and a minimum of 2 years Supervision.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for ensuring that an efficient quality service is always given to our clients. Including. Including the building of relationships and liaising with local authorities, clients and client representatives.
• Responsible for work planning and ensuring site surveys are conducted in advance of the planned works. As necessary compile and produce site specific method statement.
• Responsible for material and plant ordering with efficiencies in cost control, to ensure all work meets budget and financial requirements.
• Undertake accurate measuring and recording of all works undertaken, including a photographic record of each individual job prior to, during and after it has been completed. Identify at an early stage all contract variations and report to the relevant client. Complete weekly timesheets and submit relevant paperwork for recording and invoicing within the required timescales.
• Responsible for quality controls, ensuring that all work is undertaken to a high standard and to the current HAUC specifications.
• Ensuring all employees work safely at all times wearing relevant PPE that is supplied and adhere to all Group policies and procedures and that that site specific risk assessments are being completed on a job by job basis. Monitor, audit and complete necessary analysis to ensure maintenance of a safe working environment.
• Ensure all operations are carried out to the highest safety and technical quality by following all appropriate generic and specific method statements, work procedures and safety instructions.
• Monitor, inspect and ensure all vehicles, plant and equipment remain in good condition. Ensuring all drivers carry out daily vehicle checks and complete the relevant paperwork prior to leaving Depot.
• Ensure HGV drivers present HGV vehicles to for inspections at 6 weekly intervals as per the maintenance schedule.
• Record and collate results of clegg impact testing.
• Produce schedule for core sample testing.
• Ensure all spoil removals are deposited at licensed tips only and collate all waste transfer certificates.
• Attend and actively participate in “toolbox talks” and other training courses as required.
• Carry out any other duties as deemed appropriate by the Project Manager /Operations Director.
