Job Description
My client in Fareham, Hampshire are a large government organisation, they are seeking a Research Officer, Analysis focused on an initial contractual basis, until 31/03/2023 (37 hours per week). The role is paying £19.91 per hour (permanent salary equivalent £30,205) for the duration of the contract.
Qualifications
PhD/Degree/MSc in a highly numerate subject (e.g. Maths, Economics, Statistics, Physics, Research, Data)
Experience
Previous coding knowledge of PySpark (desirable).
Knowledge of tools and programming languages used for data analysis.
Organised and able to adapt to changing priorities and deliver expected outcomes to time and quality.
Enthusiasm and curiosity for detailed data exploration and interpretation of findings in a wider context.
Ability to use own initiative and identify when a change in approach is required.
Good communication skills, with the ability to remain positive and support others through a busy period.Successful candidates will be required to undergo SC Clearance, therefore applicants must of resided in the UK for a minimum of three out of the last five years, in order to undergo this level of security check
