Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Freight Sales Executive to join our clients expanding team on a permanent basis. Your role as Freight Sales Executive will involve selling all manner of freight forwarding services for both Imports & Exports worldwide. Ideally our client would prefer someone with previous freight industry sales experience, however they are prepared to train an experienced and driven Sales Executive who has a strong interest to develop their career within the Freight industry.
Duties involved for the Freight Sales Executive role:-
Responsible for selling and promoting Air and Sea freight import/exports services with a good knowledge of China, USA markets primarily promoting services and helping the team's sales revenue.
To do this you will be confident in making calls as well as visiting clients face to face to build relationships.
Based in Basildon, you will have the flexibility to sell anywhere in the UK and have the support of 15 global offices.Requirements for the Freight Sales Executive role:-
A solid sales background within the freight forwarding industry selling Air, Sea or ideally both trade lanes would be preferred.
You must be highly driven, committed, self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative, have the ability to source your own leads, an eye for new business and the skill for growing and developing your own accounts.
If you do not have freight sales experience but do have a strong face to face and telephone based sales background and the willingness to learn and work hard this will be considered.In return for your hard work, our client is offering a competitive salary + uncapped commission, fuel card, on-site car parking and 20 days holiday.
The working hours are 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday
