Security Analyst
Up to £50,000 (DoE) + Excellent Benefits package.
Technical Projects, Cisco Meraki, SIEM solutions, Intune, ITIL, Dynatrace, Azure, CISSP, CESG, Fortinet, M365, Sentinal, Mimecast, ServiceNow, Forcepoint, IDS/IPS, PCI DSS, Agile, Waterfall.
Based in Birmingham City Centre, West Midlands plus work from home options
The client is one of the UK's leading Leisure organisations who regularly generate £2BN turnover per annum from over 1,500 outlets across the UK.
If you are an IT Professional with a solid technical background who offers hybrid expertise in Security and Infrastructure i.e. Cisco, Cisco Meraki and Microsoft suite of technologies. If you thrive on challenge in a dynamic environment, this role will offer you the opportunity to expand your technical and personal portfolio.
You will provide specialised technical skills, knowledge, strategic planning and recommendations for improvement to meet the changing business requirements.
As the IT Security Analyst – you will:
Manage vendors that are assisting M&B with IT Security initiatives and audits
Remain abreast of industry best practices and emerging security issues
Keep up to date with hacking and social engineering techniques and mitigation techniques
Provide Security training material than can be used internally to educate our staff
Advise the leadership team of emerging IT Security threats
Create communication strategies and action plans that can be invoked in the event of an IT Security issue
Embed a culture that promotes IT Security with the BC&T, and wider teams and vendors
Formally report on IT Security risks and any breaches
Find a practical balance between keeping systems secure but not over complicated or unusable.
Establish an information security policy aligned to internationally recognisable standards
Work with architects to design security into a solution from the outset
