Job Description
Title: Senior IT Technician
Location: Chichester and surrounding areas – Onsite
Salary: £35,000 + Benefits
Contract/Permanent: Permanent
Working Hours : 8am – 4pm (Flexibility)
Hours per week: 37.5
Working Days : Monday – Friday

The role of a Senior IT Technician:
Working with multiple technologies and getting hands on experience with them
Troubleshooting a wide array of 2nd Line issues using technologies including Active Directory, Server, Wi-Fi, Switches, VLAN's, DHCP, DNS plus many others
Get hands on experience with bespoke technologies
Handling multiple tickets on a daily basis
Be the point of contact for troubleshooting issues and involves problem solving at the highest level
Offering face to face and telephonic support to users
Manage ticket queues and prioritise problemsWHAT WE LOOK FOR:
Essential Skills:
2nd Line Experience
Working experience with Servers – Managing Antivirus, Backups and SCCM or WDS
Strong Active Directory experience – Adding/Removing Users and Password resets and Group Policy Management
Wi-Fi/Aruba experience and understanding
Switches and Infrastructure – DHCP/DNS and VLANS
UK Driving License requiredAdditional Technical experience that is desired:
Managing projects using the essentials technologies
Managing VLAN Ports
Education experienceSoft Skills:
Reliable – can work in a team but also by themselves
Team Player
Logically Thinking
