Job Description
Project Manager required for a £35 million steel framed project in St. Helens
The project will commence on site in October 2022, for a programmed project of 64 weeks. You will be required to start with the main contractor in October to review design, work on procurement and meet with clients and consultants on the project.
The build is a large steel framed, new build industrial/distribution centre, with concrete slab and piled foundations . You will act as the lead project manager on the scheme, overseeing all sub-contractors, working with the client and managing the site team.
You will be working for main contractor on the project. This will be a permanent appointment, as the contractor has a wide range of mid range projects coming through the business into 2023 ranging from £10m to £45m in the new build industrial sector.
This is a great opportunity to work for a well respected regional contractor, on a scheme from day one that you will have direct responsibility for.
Applicants must have CITB SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS qualifications as minimum qualifications for this role. Ideally we are looking for someone from an engineering background and/or degree qualified. Recent main contractor experience on projects + £20m in value is essential.
