Site Engineer
£330 a day OUTSIDE IR35
Liverpool
Our client is a top tier 1 contractor who currently has a high amount of highways projects across the country. We are seeking a site engineer to start as soon as possible for a 18 month placement with a extension available for a further 6 months.
Job Description:-
Provide engineering services for a combined roadworks/structures elements of the works
Small elements of drainage and motorway communications ducting
Provide clear and accurate setting out for works
Assist in preparing RAMS prior to work commencing
Where required supervise assistant engineers and collaborate with supervisors
Reviewing drawings, schedules, specifications, method statements and pass information on to the site supervisor, supply chain and labour force
Ensure that the drawings and specification documents contain enough accurate information for construction of the works
Prepare and present records on progress and programmes
Complete inspection and test plans, including checks of dimension accuracy and quality
What we are looking for:-
Minimum 1 highways project within the last 5 years
SMSTS/SSSTS
Relevant CSCS
Computer competence (MS Word, Excel, Document control system, Primavera software)
Civil Engineering related qualification (HNC, HND, BSc MSc, BEng, MEng)
