Job Description
Smart Repair Technician – Bolton
Basic – 32k – 33k
OTE – 40k
Mon – Fri – 8.00am – 5.00pm
1 Saturday morning per month depending on workload.
Main responsibilities and duties
To accurately and skilfully undertake all aspects of SMART and Alloy Wheel repairs to all types of vehicle, preparing, spraying and finishing vehicles in a professional and efficient manner and in accordance with technical standards.
Examines vehicles; diagnoses and repairs routine and non-routine defects, using a knowledge of the vehicles, products and technologies concerned
Carries out each job within the budgeted time as set out – to maintain own labour productivity
Works in accordance with workshop and Health & Safety requirements
Works with colleagues to maintain workshop standards of cleanliness and tidiness
Ensure standards of cleanliness and tidiness of the mobile SMART repair area
Takes personal responsibility for the daily maintenance of equipment, and reports equipment defects or problems that need attention accordingly
Ensures high standards of health & safety and maintain health & safety records
Follows key processes to achieve specified quality and efficiency targets
Liaises with customers/colleagues to summarise the details of the work required or carried out, and answer their questions
Offers customers/colleagues a detailed technical explanation (where this is required) in a way that recognises their level of technical proficiency
Listens carefully to customers/colleagues and builds rapport and understanding during these discussions (where possible) to deliver customer satisfaction with the centre
Uphold the Company's image and to be aware of and adhere to all relevant statutory legislation and Company and Manufacturer policies and procedures
