Job Description
Support the wider team on software & programme development.
Provide support for requirements of new externally used software.
Act as main point of contact to external suppliers.
Drive efficiency throughout the team.
Develop and improve existing programmes.
Identify continuous improvements within the company systems.
Analyse user requirements.
Write and test code, refining and rewriting it as necessary and communicate with any programmers involved in the project.
Research, design and write new software programs and computer operating systems.
Evaluate the software and systems that make computers and hardware work.
Develop existing programs by analysing and identifying areas for modification.
Integrate existing software products and get incompatible platforms to work together.
Create technical specifications.
Write systems to control the scheduling of jobs or to control the access allowed to users or remote systems.
Write operational documentation with technical authors.
Maintain systems by monitoring and correcting software defects.
Consult clients and colleagues concerning the maintenance and performance of software systems, with a view to writing or modifying current operating systems.
Investigate new technologies.
Diagnostic skills for identifying why programs that do not meet requirements and how to improve them.
Problem-solving for improving programs and resolving bugs.Qualifications Preferred & Skills
Computer software/computer systems engineering.
Electronics.
Information systems.
Mathematics.
Physics.
Previous use of SQL.
C# .NET WinForms.
NETcore (desirable).
Experience in Labview, Azure DevOps.
Computer Science/Engineering degree or equivalent.
1-2 year's experience in software development.
Experience with process mapping.
JSON/JAVA/PYTHON Programming.
Technical Writing.
Data Analysis.
Coding/Testing/Debugging.
