Job Description
Axcis Education are looking for a number of people interested in supporting students of various primary and secondary ages in a special needs school in Bristol. The school actually has a few sites across the city, including those in the south and east side of the city. We are looking for people interested in working either full time or part time, with all of the roles supporting students on a 1:1 basis mainly; although there will be opportunity to work with small groups as well.
We are ideally looking for people who have experience in working with autism, whether that comes from a previous educational background or it be a care based role, working with young adults. We would also welcome people who have perhaps supported other special needs but would like to gather further experience with autism, or those who have worked with children but want to learn more about special needs.
This would be working school hours and term time. The school is part of a wider network of schools in Bristol and will certainly provide ample opportunity for those who may be interested in working in more than one school among the trust.
