Job Description

Role: SQL Developer /BI Engineer

Salary: £35-55k

Location: Fleet

Working Style: Hybrid

Sponsorship: Not Provided

My client is a major player in the specialist Buy to Let Mortgage market. Due to rapid new business growth, they are now looking for a SQL Developer / BI Engineer to join their IT team here in Fleet.

The role:

Change, improve and maintain existing MI and reports
Design, built, maintain and delivery of new and existing BI/MI report systems developed using Power BI, Microsoft SQL server 2016, SQL, SSIS.
Dimensions Modelling
Data warehousing and Reporting.
Full life cycle of MI, PBI reports, Dashboard.
Work closely with Software developers and data analysis teams to produce cutting edge reports and dashboards
Communicate progress and highlight issues to the IT Development Manager.

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum 3-year commercial experience.
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
Experience with SQL Server 2016+ with Excellent T-SQL skills
Understanding the relational Database
Experienced across MS BI Stack – SSIS, SSAS, SSRS
Experience of MDX and DAX
Experience with ETL development
Strong Data Modelling and Data Warehousing experience
Experience with Data visualisation tools -Power BI
