Job Description
The Recruitment Co are recruiting for an inventory/ stock controller to join our client based in Widnes.
Our client is a distribution business who has expanded over the past 3 years, we now have an opportunity for the successful candidate to join them on a permanent basis.
Daily Duties:
Stock management across site, counting stocks to ensure accuracy and availability.
Ensuring put away locations match on management system, physically checking the put away location matches the paperwork.
Responsible for ensuring in house Stock Management System is accurate at all times by stock take adjustments with a focus on reasons for stock inaccuracy.
Liaising with freight-forwarder on all inbound deliveries and delays to ensure all container deliveries arrive in a timely manner.
Logging and putting away all returns, both physically and on customers computer system
Key Responsibilities
Booking all inbound deliveries onto Customers own computer management system and checking physical location matches the paperwork .
Cycle Counting daily, 50 / 100 sku's, to ensure accuracy of location and stock level, this is a physical element involving manual handling to obtain accuracy.
Skills Experience:
Minimum two years of experience in a similar role within a warehouse environment
Manual handling
Competence in all Microsoft applications particular in Excel.
Able to make informed decisions in a fast-paced but procedure driven environment
Strong communication skills
Great level of attention to detail
FLT License RTITB or similar
Hours of work:
Monday to Friday
9am until 5pm
37.5 hours paid per week.
£22,971 per annum + £2600 bonus ( attendance related bonus payable for full attendance)
