Job Description
We are looking for a stores operative to join an award-winning organisation which has been providing state of the art service to its clients since business acquisition was made in 2016 and is one of the fastest growing manufacturers of high-performance flexible hoses.
Based in Huddersfield, just a few minutes from the M62 motorway, the successful Stores operative will be able to easily commute from surrounding areas such as: Elland, Halifax, Bradford, Wakefield, Leeds.
What's on offer for the Stores operative:
Salary: £11.44ph
Overtime regularly available
Duration: 13 Weeks Temp to Perm
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am -5:00pm Fridays (1:45pm)

Stores operative Duties:
Picking parts from various locations in stores
Packing parts for export to our distributors around the world
Issuing parts on the company system to other internal departments
Weekly stocktake of parts
Receiving products from racking using Reach Fork Lift Truck
Use of Counter Balance Fork Lift Truck in the storage and yard areas
Housekeeping, keeping the department safe, tidy and presentable
Stores operative Experience:
GCSE Maths and English
Warehouse/Stores experience
Good communication skills
Counter Balance and Reach Fork Lift Licences
Stock control and Goods in experience
Ideally the stores operative will come from an engineering background or similar.
