Academics are now actively looking for enthusiastic secondary Maths Teachers who are now looking to gain supply opportunities within our partnership schools in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, and the Cheshire East.
Whether this is a long term contract or more day-to-day casual cover work, at Academics we focus the job search around you and look to provide you with the type of work you are looking for. Our supply teaching opportunities are great as they allow our teachers to be flexible with the days that they wish to work and can be ideal for both Early Career Teachers (ECT) and Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT) as these roles historically have led to more long-term and permanent roles in some of our schools.
Roles Requirements
Have a Qualified Teaching Status (QTS or QTLS).
Be required to teach Mathematics up to GCSE or A-Level. Teaching up to A-Level would be desirable, but not essential.
Have strong classroom management with excellent subject knowledge and to have the ability to teach and inspire positive learning attitudes.
Be able to adapt quickly within a new school environment and to be a good team player.
Hold a current Enhanced DBS that is registered with the Update Service or to be prepared to apply for a new Enhanced DBS with ourselves (cost applied).Academics are a leading national education agency that specialise in the recruitment of permanent, long term and daily supply teachers and support staff.
