Job Description

Primary Teaching Assistant (HG1)

£70-90 / day

Do you have experience working in primary education?

Are you based in Leeds, Wetherby, or Harrogate?

Do you have a passion for inspiring primary school pupils?

We are currently working with a number of supportive community primary schools in Harrogate, with great transport links to Harrogate, Wetherby, and Leeds.

The school hope to find a talented class teaching assistant who has an innovative, forward-thinking style. You will be expected to inspire the children alongside managing their behaviour in and out of the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supporting the Class Teachers with all aspects of the pupils' learning
* Working on a 1-2-1 basis with SEND pupils when required
* Supporting groups of pupils who require additional support

Required Skills & Experience:
* Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification
* Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
* Previous experience working with children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
