Job Description
Technical Apprentice needed for our Newcastle based client.
Assist the technical team with:-
* Material/component sampling and preparation for testing
* Evaluation of new materials, media & components for potential use within the manufacturing process.
* Routine chemical and performance testing of components, and finished products taken from the production process .
* New product and process development trials
Requirements:
* An interest in and good qualifications in Maths & Science
* Ability to interpret drawings and specifications to understand the requirements of components and materials
* Ability to measure component dimensions, examine functionality and compare to specifications
* Ability to measure and analyse material properties in accordance with company test specifications
* Good working knowledge of MS Office
* Effective communication skills
