Job Description
A reputable and growing M&E contractor who currently have numerous large projects in London are currently seeking an experienced and driven M&E QA/QC Engineerto take responsibility of all aspects of the M&E on their project.
The M&E QA/QC Engineer is an indispensable part of any construction project and will be responsible for analyzing and qualifying the organization’s product to make sure it meets quality and highest standards. The engineer will typically work with other engineering teams to identify potential errors in the process or standard and design improvements that could create a more efficient and effective production line.
Role and Responsibilities of a M&E QA/QC Engineer
* Interpret, build upon, and comply with company quality assurance standards.
* Carefully maintain complaint and nonconformance processing through records and tracking systems, including root cause and corrective actions
* Pursue continuing education on new solutions, technology, and skills
* Assist operations in tracking, documenting, and reporting quality levels
* Develop and/or update company quality procedures to ensure best practices are being implemented
* Monitor risk-management procedures, and maintain and analyze problem logs to identify and report recurring issues to management
* Provide training and support throughout the organization on systems, policies, procedures, and core processes
M&E QA/QC Engineer Skills:
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical installations
* Knowledge of ISO 9001
* 3 years’ experience in an onsite Quality control function
* Extensive experience in report/procedure production
